Itinerary

DAY 01: ARRIVAL TRANSFER TO NEGOMBO

Welcomed by our representative on arrival at Colombo International Airport and transferred to your selected hotel in Negombo. Take an afternoon city tour of Negombo which is known for its abundance of fresh seafood and is also referred to as 'Little Rome'.

Return to your hotel in Negombo for the night.

DAY 02: NEGOMBO - ANURADHAPURA

After breakfast leave for Anuradhapura and take a city tour of this ancient capital. Explore the ruins at the sacred city of Anuradhapura which is one of the oldest continuously inhabited cities in the world.

Proceed to your hotel of choice in Anuradhapura for the overnight stay.

DAY 03: ANURADHAPURA - JAFFNA

After breakfast leave for Jaffna and check in to your hotel of choice. Take an afternoon city tour of Jaffna and discover the sights, sounds, culture, and customs that are unique to the northernmost part of the country.

Return to your hotel for the overnight stay in Jaffna.

DAY 04: EXPLORE ISLANDS NEAR JAFFNA

After an early breakfast take a boat tour of the Delft Island. The early start will certainly be worthwhile as you explore this island with coral and limestone constructions. Continue the theme of island hopping with an afternoon boat ride to Nagadeepa which is an island with religious significance to Buddhist and Hindu devotees.

Return to your hotel for the night in Jaffna.

DAY 05: JAFFNA - TRINCOMALEE

After breakfast proceeds to Trincomalee and check in to your hotel of choice for the overnight stay. Take an afternoon city tour of Trincomalee which has gained fame for its pristine beaches and natural harbor.

Return to your hotel in Trincomalee for the night.

DAY 06: EXPLORE ISLANDS NEAR TRINCOMALEE

After breakfast head out to explore the marine national park in Pigeon Island. Look for blue rock pigeon as you explore the coral reefs in Pigeon Island. In the afternoon take a tour of the Kokilai Bird Sanctuary. Be on the lookout for ducks, flamingos, pelicans, and even elephants in Kokilai Bird Sanctuary.

Return to your hotel for the overnight stay in Trincomalee

DAY 07: TRINCOMALEE - POLONNARUWA

After breakfast leave for Polonnaruwa and check in to the hotel of your choice. Take an afternoon safari at Minneriya National Park to view its many species of wildlife in their natural setting.

Return to your hotel in Polonnaruwa for the overnight stay.

DAY 08: POLONNARUWA - NEGOMBO

After breakfast take a city tour of Polonnaruwa. Explore the ruins of Polonnaruwa which is a UNESCO declared World Heritage site.

Proceed to Negombo and check in to your hotel of choice for the night.

DAY 09: DEPARTURE FROM NEGOMBO

Your tour ends this morning after breakfast and your transfer will be provided to the airport in time for your departure flight.

Alternatively, you can choose to extend this tour with a stay at any of the options available in Sri Lanka or the Maldives.
