Itinerary

DAY 01: ARRIVAL TRANSFER TO NEGOMBO

Our representative will meet you and welcome you on arrival at Colombo International Airport.

Your vehicle will take you to your selected hotel to check-in for your overnight stay. You are at leisure until the afternoon when you will be taken on a city tour of Negombo to explore the fishing village including some of its colonial history.

Return to your hotel for the overnight stay in Negombo.

DAY 02: NEGOMBO - PINNAWELA - DAMBULLA - SIGIRIYA

After breakfast leave for Sigiriya. Enroute visit the Pinnawela Iperanigama to get a glimpse into life in the 17th and 18th Centuries in Sri Lanka. Proceed to Dambulla to visit the rock cave temples and let the beautiful murals on the ceiling add color to your day.

Proceed to your hotel of choice in Sigiriya for the overnight stay.

DAY 03: SIGIRIYA - MATALE - KANDY

After breakfast visit Sigiriya rock fortress and palace complex. Admire the beautiful frescoes and the hydraulic engineering as you climb to the summit of Sigiriya to take in the sweeping views from this vantage point. Proceed to Kandy in the afternoon with an en-route visit to a spice garden in Matale. Take an evening city tour of Kandy which concludes with the cultural dance performance.

Return to your hotel in Kandy for the overnight stay.

DAY 04: KANDY - NUWARA ELIYA

After breakfast leave for Nuwara Eliya and check in to your hotel of choice. Visit a tea factory and take in the beautiful scenery along the way. Learn about tea plucking and enjoy a thirst-quenching cup of Ceylon Tea. In the afternoon take a city tour of Nuwara Eliya and explore the colonial atmosphere of this quaint town.

Return to your hotel for the night in Nuwara Eliya.

DAY 05: NUWARA ELIYA - ELLA - YALA

After breakfast leave for Yala with a visit to Ella en route. Enjoy the breathtaking scenery of Ella including the nine arch railway bridge.

Check in to your hotel in Yala for the overnight stay.

DAY 06: YALA - BENTOTA

After early breakfast take a safari of Yala National Park. Be on the lookout for herds of elephants while on safari. Enjoy the sights along the coast as you make your way to Bentota.

Check in to your hotel of choice in Bentota for the evening at leisure and overnight stay.

DAY 07: DEPARTURE FROM BENTOTA

Your tour ends this morning after breakfast and your transfer will be provided to the airport in time for your departure flight.

Alternatively, you can choose to extend this tour with a stay at any of the options available in Sri Lanka or the Maldives.
