Itinerary

Day 01 - Arrival and transfer to Negombo

Welcome on arrival and transfer to Negombo. Overnight in Negombo.

Day 02 - City tour of Negombo

Once the PCR test results are ready, you will go on a city tour of Negombo while seated in your vehicle to explore this fishing village including some of its colonial history.

Day 03 - Drive to Dambulla, Climb Sigiriya Rock Fotress

After breakfast leave for Dambulla, check in to your hotel. In the late afternoon proceed to Sigiriya to visit the rock fortress and palace complex which is another UNESCO world heritage site. The climb to the summit of this rock may require some effort but the views from this vantage point are sure to take your breath away. overnight stay in Sigiriya.

Day 04 - Safari in Kaudulla National Park & Excursion to Polonnaruwa

After breakfast takes an excursion to Polonnaruwa for a city tour of this ancient capital which was the backdrop for the Disney movie 'Monkey Kingdom'. In the afternoon visit the Kaudulla National Park where elephants are often viewed in their natural habitat. Return to your hotel in Dambulla for your overnight stay

Day 05- Drive to Kandy, visit Royal Botanical Gardens & Temple of Tooth

After breakfast proceed to Kandy. Get a glimpse into Sri Lankan culture and heritage as you tour the last capital to have fallen to colonial invaders with an evening city tour of Kandy. In the evening visit the Peradeniya botanical garden which includes more than 4000 species of plants and visit the Temple of the Tooth which is located in the royal palace complex which houses the Relic of the tooth of Buddha. Dinner and overnight stay in Kandy.

Day 06 - Drive to Nuwara Eliya

After breakfast proceed to Nuwara eliya. Enjoy the breath-taking scenery as you proceed to your hotel of choice for the overnight stay in Nuwara Eliya. Take an afternoon city tour of Nuwara Eliya and explore the quaint English village atmosphere which is a legacy of British rule in these tea covered hills while seated in your vehicle. Dinner and overnight at in Nuwara eliya.
