Start time for pick up from Negombo Hotel (You may inform us the name of hotel a day before or in advance) between 8.00 AM and 8.30AM based on the location of your hotel.

The Fort

Your exploration of the Fort will take you on a drive past the Lighthouse with Clock Tower designed by Lady Ward (built before the Big Ben in London), The Prison Cell of the last Sri Lankan King, Galle Face Promenade with cannons of World War II, the South Expansion of the Colombo Harbour and York Street with remnants of British Colonial Architecture.

The Pettah & Slave Island

The Pettah is the wholesalersâ€™ main trading point and is always a bustling and chaotic place. Get some respite from the chaos around with a visit to the Wollvendhaal church which was completed in 1757. Make your way towards Slave Island where a famous Hindu Kovil with a uniquely carved gopuram is located. The name Slave Island is misleading as this is not an island and neither is it a place for slaves but rather a place that is coloured by its multi ethnic and multi faith population with an interesting collection of colonial style buildings.

The scenic Beira Lake in the heart of the city, the War Memorial, Public Library, National Museum, Nelum Pokuna Theatre, Vihara Mahadevi Park, Colombo Town Hall, and many more historical and important landmarks and places add to the interesting tapestry of life within the city limits of Colombo.

What to bring?
