Itinerary

DAY 01: ARRIVAL TRANSFER TO NEGOMBO

Our representative will meet you and welcome you on arrival at Colombo International Airport. Your vehicle will take you to your selected hotel to check in for your overnight stay. You are at leisure until the afternoon when you will be taken on a city tour of Negombo. Explore the fishing village of Negombo including some of its colonial history

DAY 02: NEGOMBO - ANURADHAPURA

After breakfast leave for Anuradhapura and check in to your hotel of choice for your overnight stay. After a brief stop to freshen up take an afternoon city tour of Anuradhapura. Explore the sacred city of Anuradhapura, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1982. Return to your hotel for the night at leisure.

DAY 03: ANURADHAPURA - SIGIRIYA - POLONNARUWA - HABARANA

After breakfast leave for Sigiriya to visit the Sigiriya Rock Fortress and Palace Complex. Climb the UNESCO World Heritage site of Sigiriya to explore the remains of the palace and fortress. Proceed to your hotel of choice in Habarana for the overnight stay and freshen up before the afternoon city tour of Polonnaruwa. Take a tour of the ruins of Polonnaruwa city which is another UNESCO World Heritage site. Return to your hotel in Habarana for the night.

DAY 04: HABARANA - DAMBULLA - KANDY

After an early breakfast visit Dambulla to see the rock cave temples. Explore another UNESCO World Heritage site, the rock cave temples within the Dambulla cave complex. Proceed to Kandy to check in to the hotel of your choice for your stay for the next 2 nights. You are at leisure for the remainder of the day to relax and enjoy the evening.

DAY 05: EXCURSION TO NUWARA ELIYA

After breakfast take an excursion to Nuwara Eliya. Visit a tea factory and take in the beautiful scenery along the way. Return to Kandy for an evening city tour which concludes with the cultural dance performance. Return to your hotel for the overnight stay.

DAY 06: KANDY - IPERANIGAMA - COLOMBO

After breakfast visit Pinnawela Iperanigama which depicts Sri Lankan life in the 17th and 18th Century. Proceed to Colombo and check in to your hotel of choice. Take an afternoon city tour of Colombo before returning to your hotel for the overnight stay.

DAY 07: DEPARTURE TRANSFER

Your tour ends this morning after breakfast and your transfer will be provided to the airport in time for your departure flight. Alternatively you can choose to extend this tour with a stay at any of the options available in Sri Lanka or the Maldives.
